We know participating in a virtual event isn’t the same as being together in person. We understand and would much rather be with all of you on race day to cheer you on! But since 2020 looks a lot different for most of us, we hope you will join us September 24 – 27, 2020 for the #SafeHouseStrong Virtual 5K.

Why are we hosting a virtual 5K?

We’re kicking off this virtual 5K event to help bring awareness to domestic violence. Domestic Violence Awareness is represented by the color purple. This virtual event will include a purple t-shirt. All proceeds from registration and donations will go to SafeHouse of Shelby County an organization dedicated to providing critical domestic and sexual violence response, prevention and intervention programs for the communities of Shelby, Coosa, Clay, and Chilton Counties in Central Alabama.

Below is helpful information regarding our virtual 5K and what to expect when joining us for this exciting event!

Please email safehouse@safehouse.org with additional questions.
